Yes and no If I was made an offer for its true value in what I've spent on it, which I doubt will ever happen, then I would probably be persuaded to part with it, but otherwise I'll just keep hold of it until the love comes back RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - RetroPug - 09-05-2014 I miss my rain-sensitive wipers. They would respond instantly to things like overtaking a lorry on the motorway and the windscreen suddenly getting splashed. AC was nice as well... but then again, phase win is where it's at. RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - zx_volcane - 09-05-2014 Wait gti6 what? I'm seriously loosing track of how many cars you've got now ... I was giving the sedan all it had and your Zx shot up behind like I wasn't even moving haha RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 10-05-2014 Some pictures of the new lows And this is now the procedure for getting it off the ramp haha RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Dum-Dum - 10-05-2014 She looks good low, take it it was 40mm GMax you went for? I'm a huge lover of the GMax stuff (for the price) RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 10-05-2014 (10-05-2014, 11:16 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: She looks good low, take it it was 40mm GMax you went for? Nah man 60mm now running the same as your old bianca '6 :-) RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Dum-Dum - 10-05-2014 Same as my estate then too, just doesn't look quite as low. Guess it'll settle a little. Hope you dont like your arches. Mine have to be pulled just so I can get steering angle RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 10-05-2014 (10-05-2014, 11:19 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: Same as my estate then too, just doesn't look quite as low. Mine have to be pulled just so I can get steering angle I've driven it around the estate a few times and over some larger bumps and the only thing that catches is one of the exhaust clamps, still got full lock left and right :-) RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 11-05-2014 Had an interior day Old seats out and gave the carpet a hoovering of a lifetime Ph1 rear bench in Ph1 fronts in, massive improvement over the shit ph3 seats Chased a blown fuse down to get the radio working again plus replaced a few bulbs on the clocks as there were some dark patches I'll get around to changing the bulb in the heater controls at some point as it's on and off intermittently RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Mitch - 11-05-2014 and one in your clock by the looks as well sir! Awesome lows I'm just trying to find stuff to do until I can afford to tax it aha. Think I'll fit the rallye aux setup over the week once I figure out the belt route, and making enquiries into powder coating for a few parts :-P RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 12-05-2014 Crystals have been dropped off for blackmasks and a set of badges ready for paint too :-) Priced up how much it's going to cost for my bumper and ph3 strips to be sprayed so only a wing to source now :-) Hoping to get the remaining bodywork mint in the period between fcs and Pugfest RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Matt-Rallye - 12-05-2014 If your having bits sprayed why dont you have a wing off the moonstone and have it sprayed? Put the moonstone on while nile ones being painted RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - RetroPug - 13-05-2014 I've got a cherry wing sitting around doing nothing that you can have if you want it. Can't remember the phase nor the condition though but will have a look if you want. RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 13-05-2014 I'm holding out for a genuine nile wing still as mine isn't terrible, just got a small ripple behind the light that bugs me, but if nothing comes up before Pugfest il take up an offer of a decent wing to get sprayed :-) RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 17-05-2014 Finally got my blackmasks and badges sorted :-D And thought I'd finally clean it after nearly 3 months of ownership haha So keen to find a mint bumper now, only thing letting it down :-( Rallye blanks going on when they arrive and I'll have to see about getting my ph3 rubstrips painted Anyone recommend a decent plastic blackening product? Mirrors and scuttle panel looking a bit faded RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Kezzieboy - 17-05-2014 Looks awesome man! I use Megs tyre gel on mine, mostly because I have so little black trim I CBA to buy another product, but it does a pretty good job, anyway! RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - Tom - 17-05-2014 AG bumper gel worked well when i used it. Theres probably something better out there though, AG arent that great really. RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - ozonehostile - 17-05-2014 Ah cool, I'll see what I can pick up. Just hate the grey plastic so much but don't want to resort to painting it black as it just doesn't quite look right imo RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - C2K - 17-05-2014 Heat gun or peanut butter on the trim. Otherwise buy a tyre gel or a plastic dressing. I use auto finesse revive on faded trim. RE: Ozonehostile vaguely oem+ Gti6 - RetroPug - 18-05-2014 Plasticare Trim Dye. It isn't a dressing product, it is actually a polymer-based dye that restores the trim to factory-looking newness. You can dress the trim after using it, but I just used it and the acres of plastic on the Ph.1 are looking very good so I didn't bother. |
