oil leak at vacuum pump end - Teddy - 18-02-2014 got a very slight oil leak on vacuum end off the head swaped the seal still leaking the odd drip is there a seal on camshaft on that end ? cheers RE: oil leak at vacuum pump end - Niall - 18-02-2014 Have you got a pic of the pump? if they are the same design as the GTi ones, i always found keeping a new seal on there and running a bead of sealant around the outer edge of the pump where it meets the face of the head works. RE: oil leak at vacuum pump end - mr_fish - 19-02-2014 Theres two o rings I had to fit a vacuum pump to the xantia engine when I fitted it, just used 2 new seals and seemed to be fine. Ive given up to be honest. |
