Cyclone balancing - Leedunn86 - 10-02-2014 Anyone else had issues with getting cyclones balanced? Cant seem to find anywhere that will do them locally to me as they dont have centre bores. Beginning to wish i had lazors instead lol RE: Cyclone balancing - Mattcheese31 - 10-02-2014 it's a pain mate no doubt, try some of the bigger places, more likely to do them . . ![]() RE: Cyclone balancing - C.A.R. - 10-02-2014 Keep shopping around mate, I work on an industrial estate and only 2 of the 7 various tyre places can do them for me! Last time one forgot to bloody tell me til I was there to collect the car that actually they had lost the adapter bracket and couldn't do it anyway - cheers fellas! RE: Cyclone balancing - paul7278 - 10-02-2014 I do loads at work. Where are you? Most places just can't be bothered but once you have the adaptor set up its easy. RE: Cyclone balancing - RetroPug - 10-02-2014 Kwik-Fit can, or at least the one local to me could. RE: Cyclone balancing - Toms306 - 11-02-2014 I assumed most places just couldn't be bothered, but it seems a lot don't buy the adapter due to its cost. I know Formula 1, ATS Euromaster, National tyres and Kwik fit all have the proper stuffto do it though. Try them if you cant find anywhere else. RE: Cyclone balancing - paul7278 - 16-02-2014 The adaptor we use comes with all balancers and requires 1 Allen key and a 13mm spanner to fit. In my experience a lot of garages can't be bothered for the sake of balancing charge. But my workshop does. Cyclone balancing - Dean - 16-02-2014 National tyres balance cyclones, takes all of 30 seconds to take the center bore balancing adapter off to a hub type one.
