Hi guys got a problem the battery warning light is on in my hdi it is not the battery or the alternater as checked with volt metre and both are fine but was told by previous owner that it is a dodgy earth has this happened to anyone before if not what else could it be

Nope mine was the alternator just before it died. You can check all the earths easy enough or just make your own.
