ok lads iv been keeping an eye on the mpg of the oil burner
its working out at 52.75 mpg
thats 400 miles on 50euro of fuel at 1.45.9 a litre
so my question is good or bad mpg
whats everyone else doing

i'm gonna say that's pretty good Smile my zx NAD did 55mpg but is a little lighter

RE: mpg for a n/a 1.9 - THE_Liam - 03-02-2014

It's good considering my DT is down to 33mpg...

RE: mpg for a n/a 1.9 - Eeyore - 03-02-2014

im sure a hdi gets 45mpg all day long. For 7mpg more id rather have the turbo!

Not many have NADs on here to compare with! Though with a 17 second 0-60 I'd be expecting at least 70mpg to make up for that. Tongue

If you're after random comparisons though, my Vectra done 48mpg this week....with a turbo...a stuck EGR....and a 9 second 0-60... lol And the HDi's I had last year averaged 50mpg.

Diesels only £1.20 in Ireland? Thought it was more expensive over there.
