Oil In Coolant, Mayo in Oil. - Optikal - 27-01-2014

Overheated today on a 5 mile trip. No heat from fans. Opened the bonnet and found the old mayo in the oil dipstick and oil in the coolant. Bought for £500 in October. Going to scrap the f*cking shed. And so my brief flirtation with French cars comes to an end and I finally realise why everyone told me to avoid them Big Grin

I was uneducated! Big Grin Seriously though, the MOT is due in a few weeks and the tax has run out. Any idea what it's worth, if anything?

1.8? Shouldn't be a tu should it? There shit engines I hate them. Had 106 and saxo with nothing but engine problems

1.8 is XU. They only did the TU up to 1.6.

You must be doing something wrong to blow a headgasket on a 1.8, they very rarely break at all! (Unlike TU's lol)
