Problem is most of the 'premium' ones are all made in the same factory over here, and they just as shit too, I refuse to buy anything from them because the quality is dire, I'd be f*cking ashamed at some of the fab and welding even if I'd done if blindfolded with an arc welder whilst stood on one foot, knee deep in flood water and singing hymns.
As for the design and actual usefulness of the cores, pissing in the wind.

Problem is, I've yet to find a supplier that actually gives a f*ck about making a decent cat.

I see thee hc's are way out at idle. Was the head off at any stage. If it was reset the tappets. They will have the mixture all over the place if not set correctly.
