I'm at the opposite end of the scale.. i work in customer services and it's when people call up who can't speak english.. then moan at you for not speaking there language.. apparently i'm supposed to speak 'hindy' because a large majority of the population are asian

Difference is i'm not supposed to though lol.. so it's my fault for not knowing hindy but they are completely fine not being able to speak ENGLISH in ENGLAND!

Agreed - plus as a foreigner myself I just have no time for it. I've only lived here a couple of years and guess what - I can speak English well enough to explain to any one want I want/need!!! Lecturers on huge salaries who speak English so badly/with such a strong accent you can hardly follow them have to be the worst (in my books anyway)!!!
