Useful for other members?? - Jimbo - 26-12-2013 Im currently refurbing my rear beam and would be nice to fully rebud it before fitting it, rather than fitting then pissing about pulling TBs out to set ride height. So wondered if someone has measurements of dummy shocks for certain heights Im looking at a 60mm ish drop. Obviously if I make a pair of dummy shocks I can be sure the height will be the same. Or if anyone knows a different method for setting height off car, that would be awesome Cheers dummy shock - Jimbo - 26-12-2013 So actually from what I've found standard distance from centre of shock bolts is 330mm A 2mm difference in that measurement equates to a 3mm diff in ride height so... 310mm between shocks is 30mm drop 300mm = 45mm drop 294 = 54mm drop ( what I will go for) And so on etc etc Dont know if this is anywhere else on here but could come in useful for other members RE: Useful for other members?? - mikey b - 26-12-2013 Good bit of info here RE: Useful for other members?? - JJtheHITMAN - 29-12-2013 Very usefull i will be needing this soon, good bit of info there mate RE: Useful for other members?? - Jimbo - 29-12-2013 Yeah thought may be handy although most people set ride height on car, I will do un update when I have made a dummy shock. May grab some pics when I make that up too |
