Peugeot is a French car brand and the second largest car maker based in Europe. Peugeot headquarters for the legal and top-level administration are located in Ave de la Granda Armee, Paris. The operational headquarters are located in Sochaux, France. Peugeot had a net income of 0.4 billion Euro and had a revenue of 54.4 billion Euro in 2008.
1929 was the year Peugeot first used the three digit numbering system for there cars.
The car was the 201 first seen at the 1929 Paris fair
the first digit stood for the size and the last period of manufacture.
the three-digit name was registered and defended fiercely by Peugeot, so much so that when porsche decided to name their new model 901,they had to change it to 911
