Im new to all this hdi things so I was wondering if this is a clutch that will take the torque on a stage 2 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111015876908?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I believe it to be for the berlingo.

In short-no.
It may hold, but it'll not last long and imo for the money you'd be better off with a sprung paddle clutch.

Thanks mate, I only wanted to spend a maximum of £200 is it possible to get a friction plate and pressure plate for that?

Dont think so but you can get just a paddle from cg for 150 odd i think? I would assume you need the pressure plate aswell to make it hold hard.

Depends how far you intend to push stage 2. The stock pressure plate with a good friction plate would probably be fine for a reasonable map, push up towards the top end of stage 2 and then you'll be looking at a pressure plate.
If you want, make me an offer on my cg 4 paddle with uprated pressure plate, its the xud type.

An unsprung cg paddle plate is only about £100

Keeping a keen eye on this, going to contact a local company tomorrow with regards to clutches. Will let you guys know if theyre any cheaper/can even offer a stage 2 clutch.

Alright thanks everyone still haven't got my hdi yet just doing all my research into it all. I want to run around 280ft/lb paddle seems the best anyone got a link to cg or is custom ordered?

Think you have to ring them for a setup for a standard HDi or else you can swap bits n pieces over from the xud clutch andnuse their setups which seem cheaper as theyre more widely used.

Oh I see then to use xud style would mean clutch cable, clutch fork and the gearbox bracket.

Seems so, might need the thrust bearing aswell, preasure plate/flywheel is different too I believe.

Oh yeah I forgot a 2.0 petrol flywheel the xud pressure plate has the thrust bearing built in to it.
