MOT passed! - Dum-Dum - 20-12-2013

The estate passed her MOT today. Im over the moon as I was well nervous not having owned a car long enough to MOT it for a few years ans especially as it was so cheap. She'll defo go over the 250k mark before her next one and I think im gonna treat her to a fmic fitting.

any advisories???

Advisory items:

1. Large dent in tailgate
2. Numerous parts attached by cable ties
3. Hammer marks
4. Inadequate engine displacement which can not be replaced

RE: MOT passed! - Dum-Dum - 20-12-2013

Advisories were a tiny chip in the windscreen, one tyre near the limit, another with a nick in it and a slightly frayed seat belt.

RE: MOT passed! - THE_Liam - 20-12-2013

In all seriousness that car must have had some serious money spent at some point to be in such good nick at that mileage.

RE: MOT passed! - c.gerrard - 20-12-2013

Must have been a dodgy garage.

It's the only logical explanation!

I got so many bad chips within the sweep AND a frayed seatbelt...

Yet no mention of them for me...just that its not a petrol and its lowered!!

Every tester is different at the end of the day and has there own forts on things that should be advised

RE: MOT passed! - Dum-Dum - 20-12-2013

Not really. Mine has passed every mot in 8 years, 268 and counting. Deeturbo is undoubtedly the same story.
