Arch rolling tyre scubing - Donkeybubles - 14-12-2013 Does anyone who rolles arches in the midlAnds or best way with out nackering the paint up as now iv lowered mine the fronts taking chunks of the tyres and sounds like it's roping the arches off if on lock and hit a bump round bends ??? RE: Arch rolling tyre scubing - Slam Wagon - 14-12-2013 Arch roller and a heat gun to soften the paint, helps to stop it cracking and flaking. RE: Arch rolling tyre scubing - Eeyore - 14-12-2013 I've just rolled mine. The wheels cracked the paint but what was left I used a heat gun on. Arch rolling tyre scubing - Seid' - 15-12-2013 I've arched mines on back with a bit of wood lolol RE: Arch rolling tyre scubing - Dum-Dum - 15-12-2013 As above, use your sisters hair dryer to heat and soften the paint and work slowly a little at a time. Chances are on a 12-22 year old 306 your gonna crack the paint and if you do flake off anything thats not sticking anymore and hammerite it. RE: Arch rolling tyre scubing - Donkeybubles - 15-12-2013 So other people had this problem then as I couldn't find anythink about it on here and I'll give that a go on Monday fingers crossed I don't fudge it up ? |
