Brake help - Bananalad - 08-12-2013

Looking for 283 front brakes, see this car http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/citroen-xsara-vts-gti-6-engine/6108952
But I know some vts use smaller brakes any way of telling? I've already asked him and he tells me there 283 don't want to waste my journey to check myself
