Christmas present for a 10 and 11 year old. £100 budget. Come at me bros. Currently looking at a 7" galaxy tab 3

RE: Tablets - Tom - 26-11-2013

Cheapo android epad. My 10 year old brother has one, seems to work fine for him to play games and email mother when shes at work.

In all seriousness, for that price, those 'hudl' things tesco sell aren't badly spec'd at all

Or.. if you're not fussed, get onto deal xtreme

The tesco ones are ment to be extremely good! I hadn't heard a bad review about them yet. Alot of the cheapo ebay ones are really shit.

My dad bought my 5 year of sister one from argos that's locked to what they can do. But can be unlocked by parents with the code. Great to be used by kids and adults. Cant remember what is called though.

avoid capacitive touch screens. or maybe thats the good one. one screen type is shocking and doesnt allow for multitouch.

i've just bought my son a hudl . . .haven't opened it yet but you can buy them with clubcard points unlike all the other tablets, which is a win . .Smile

RE: Tablets - kernow_joe - 27-11-2013

kurio is great for kids has full access control, and can set sleep timer etc. my nephew has one, not sure he realises why it turns off but he knows his time is up!

RE: Tablets - cully - 27-11-2013

dont have a clubcard let alone 3,674,872 points lol

Or as an alternative. Go to the local carphone warehouse and for 11.99 a month on a 2 year plan you can get a Samsung galaxy fame worth £100 and a samsung tab 3 worth 160
plus a monthly allowance of 500 mins, unlimited texts and 250mb data.

Bargain imo

RE: Tablets - Connor - 28-11-2013

Anyone have any opinions on the galaxy tab 3 then? As I think the missis is about to buy 2 very soon lol

RE: Tablets - Jimbo - 28-11-2013
