Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 21-11-2013 Hi guys, have the fan messing me about at this time of the year. Headache. Sometimes while driving along it will operate as normal, others it will faff about and go slow, changing to and fro on its own accord. Is there any fix to this or is it a fault in the controls panel or even the motor itself? I remember on the mg it had resistors but this isnt a 1,2,3,4 system so im not sure about it. Thanks in advance. RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 22-11-2013 nobody got any info on this? ![]() RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - C2K - 22-11-2013 Check the connector out . Mine did this and had been arcing when not quite plugged in properly. RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 22-11-2013 which connector am i looking for buddy? one on the motor itself? RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - C2K - 22-11-2013 On the blower motor itself. I had recently had mine out to oil the bearings. RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 22-11-2013 ah, just had a nosey, seemed to be in ok but gave it a wiggle and tried the blowers, working dead on! must have been a loose connection, i need to get the motor ut of mine and grease the bearings too, sod is squeaking crazy RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 26-11-2013 Problems again ![]() RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - C2K - 01-12-2013 Meh, it will still be the connector. Mine did this for a while but then sorted itself out. ![]() RE: Heater Blower intermittent (Ph3/HDi) - mcglynn - 01-12-2013 Its really stiff going into the connections? The switch looks like it has to open to take it out? Im assuming thats the correct way as that's how I done it. Otherwise its not playing ball very well lol. Pain in the ass. It seems the blowers don't change position too, I dont hear a motor open or close the flaps or move anything to redirect the air? |
