saab twin pass intercooler - hucky - 21-11-2013 I have a saab twin pass intercooler and i believe i bought the 307 elbow. can anyone recommend what pipes are needed and bends if poss?? RE: saab twin pass intercooler - silverzx - 21-11-2013 Depends what route you want to take it across your engine bay. RE: saab twin pass intercooler - hucky - 21-11-2013 both pipes will leave the intercooler on the passenger side. as for the rest. it makes no odds to me as once they are on i wont be looking at them again RE: saab twin pass intercooler - silverzx - 21-11-2013 (21-11-2013, 03:51 PM)hucky Wrote: both pipes will leave the intercooler on the passenger side. as for the rest. it makes no odds to me as once they are on i wont be looking at them again So look at someone elses setup and copy the route? Theres plenty of variations, choose the one you like the most, generally speaking the less bends the cheaper it'll be too buy. Or just get a universal pipe kit. And make sure its 2", any bigger is a pain in the ass. RE: saab twin pass intercooler - hucky - 21-11-2013 thank you. im glad you said that about the size as ive just been shopping for 2.5 lol RE: saab twin pass intercooler - Poodle - 21-11-2013 Just measure the gap you've got to play with, should be pretty obvious why 2.5 is a bad idea lol. As silverzx has said, it completely depends how you do it, there is no definitive list of parts needed. |
