The clutch on my 1.6 is very heavy in comparison to any other car I have drove, I've read that changing the cable could resolve this.. just wondering any of you guys had the same problem if so did a cable change resolve this?

It could be the cable or the fork bushes on the gearbox, but generally 306 clutches are a bit heavier then quite a few cars

if it really bothers you drop a cable on it see if it helps if not you'll need to take the box off and do the fork bushes, at that point might aswell drop a new clutch in it if its getting on in life

have a quick read through this might help out

Yeah, the cable runs by the exhaust which it turns drys the cable out making it stiff to use
