RE: anyone fancy a swim - lewisdmz - 13-11-2013

You should get some garden ornaments and make that into a nice water feature.

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Niall - 13-11-2013

Thats the worst one I've ever seen!

RE: anyone fancy a swim - daniel909 - 13-11-2013

it a good the misses get wet every morning

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Dum-Dum - 14-11-2013

Just drill a hole in the floor and all will be fine.

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Toms306 - 14-11-2013

I've seen worse....

On cars I've been breaking for parts without doors though.... Confused

Thats what i was thinking hahaha the cars up the scrapyard have smaller puddles! Get a hose and someone to sit in the car, i imagine a leak like that will be pretty easy to find!

RE: anyone fancy a swim - puglove - 14-11-2013

LOL!!! Clogged door seal i had this in my old dt if i parked it passenger sidw facing down hill . Replaced the seal in the end and it sorted it

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Jonny81191 - 14-11-2013

Wow, that really is scrapyard spec lol

As Jamie said, door seal is your most likely culprit.

RE: anyone fancy a swim - daniel909 - 14-11-2013

ok cheer will have a look later on

RE: anyone fancy a swim - darrenjlobb - 14-11-2013

Haha standard, many a times have i got in my DT to find this.

Shotgun, i mean 2mm drill to the floor fixes it Wink

RE: anyone fancy a swim - daniel909 - 14-11-2013

Obviously we have more rain at this time of year but still..

The 306 fairy might be tampering with everyones cars?

What you did there......

I see it.

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Jonny81191 - 14-11-2013

Tbh things like this will be more common the older the cars get. Also rust, even mine which is low mileage and phase 3 is showing signs of rust

I think we can fairly safely blame DumDum for that though haha!

RE: anyone fancy a swim - procta - 14-11-2013

my rovers floor pans get worse than that, when the door seal acted up.

I wish I could, but the rear bump stops are starting to go (seems to be one of the first areas to develop issues) and there really is no way that's Chris' fault.

He's to blame for the rear arch though, there was a LOT of mud up the top there holding moisture just nicely Big Grin

I got in early but then my leak came back Sad

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Toms306 - 14-11-2013

If it makes you guys feel better, my Mum's 12 plate car had a soggy floor mat and condensed water on the inside of the windscreen recently....

I've got an idea that the rubber seals dry out over the summer, which reduces their flexibility and then waterproofness....soon as they get wet a few times, get back into shape and it doesn't happen again until the same time next year.

Re: anyone fancy a swim - THE_Liam - 14-11-2013

Stab some holes in the outer edge of the seal at the lowest point, that fixed mine! It was on the drivers side as well, wasn't really bothered until the morning it froze.

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Sian - 14-11-2013

RE: anyone fancy a swim - Lego Jon - 15-11-2013
