Noisy engine - 306pc - 01-11-2013
Fired up the 306 this morning and it sounded terrible. i know they are noisy and rattle from cold but never been like this before, sounds like a van.
Any ideas fellas?
It's been a dick since I had the pump changed to a Bosch.

Did you manage to knock the advance back yet? If iirc didn't it do this after the conversion then cleared up?

Magic peugeot sorted. Sounds fine after a drop of oil and a gentle run. I didn't drive it for 2 days, maybe this?
Was getting worried jenks. Thought turbo swap was going to be delayed. Can't wait till Thursday. Gt17/T25 hybrid time!

Sounds normal to me. It's probably because it's cold and not been run for a few days. It'll be sweet as a nut when it's warmed up
