amps and sub combos, old school or new school?? - pugvivant - 31-10-2013

I was driving home along the a13 when I had doctor greenthumb come on in my playlist on my die phone. Now my fiesta has standard stero, its a ford double din 6000cd amd standard speakers. I havent even counted wether its just front 2 or has the rears have speakers.

Anyway boring story short, i wanna get some sort of headunit, amp amd set up im the motor, so wheni turn up the volume on dr greenthumb
I can feel my kidneys and ear drums shake.

So is the old school legacy, rockford fosgate, jbl and co still good by todays standard or have new manufacturers dominating the scene. Been about 15 years since i been playing with all things ice.

So suggestions and info appreciated.

This was about 10 or 11 years ago and i was skint at the time as my insurance was like a gazillion quid but the vibe 12 inch subs and the sont xplod ones gave some good cheap thump!
