Locking wheel bolt key - Ricky - 14-10-2013 I have lost my locking wheel bolt key, it's the one with the four little stud bits on it, is there a specific one for the 306 or is there a code printed on the bolt? RE: Locking wheel bolt key - Toms306 - 14-10-2013 Theres more than one for a 306.........or you could use your key to go round nicking 306 wheels lol. I've not heard of a code being printed on the bolt. I think you're gonna have to look harder tbh lol. RE: Locking wheel bolt key - Ricky - 14-10-2013 haha fair point.. Didn't really think of that, might just whack a socket over them as I wont be using them again. RE: Locking wheel bolt key - E_KEL95 - 14-10-2013 Weld a bolt to it and use another socket on it to take it off or hammer on a smaller sized socket onto the lock nut thats how ive seen ones take them off if theyve lost theirs.. RE: Locking wheel bolt key - Dum-Dum - 14-10-2013 Aren't they round on the outside? You'll be lucky if you can successfully hammer a socket on them and get enough purchase for it not to spin. RE: Locking wheel bolt key - Grant - 14-10-2013 Hammer an 18mm socket over it ![]() Done this a few times before and it worked for me ![]() RE: Locking wheel bolt key - bigcheez2k3 - 16-10-2013 The one with 4 little prongs, use a 13mm socket on it, that's how mine came off. Could try the local dealer, but I went through their box of keys and had no joy. |
