Aerial help? - Dean - 01-10-2013 Having a bit of bother with the car radio, the FM/AM doesn't work at all now, used to work a bit, but now it doesn't. I have put a new aerial wire in (both bits) but doesn't seem to have made any difference, anything i should know about? or is the general 306 aerial just plain wank? RE: Aerial help? - Glen306 - 05-10-2013 I have an in car Arial fitted on the front window I am Shure it is a Halfords one only cost £4 works relay well RE: Aerial help? - Poodle - 06-10-2013 Standard aerial has always been more than adequate for me, brand new genuine ones are only ~£15 if you fancy trying that next. Don't suppose it could be getting interference from anything, break in the sheathing etc..? Aerial help? - rocker8742 - 06-10-2013 Iirc the aerials are supposed to be powered from the standard HU for better reception Remember seeing a guide for adding a regulator on here somewhere but can't remember who's it was RE: Aerial help? - Just Sean - 06-10-2013 I could do with this. Mines snapped! ![]() RE: Aerial help? - DeeTurbo - 06-10-2013 If you're using an aftermarket headunit get the longer aerial from a ph1 and you'll get your stations back. Even with the reg mod the ph3 isn't that good, the ph1 aerial picks up better a lot better reception. RE: Aerial help? - Just Sean - 06-10-2013 Ah cool. I'll do this monday |
