is my brother in laws(to be) stag weekend few weeks time, we're planning on going thorpe park want to go for a few beers in evening obviously! but not sure where close to stay?

any one got any ideas?

Coming from where you are I would have made the trip worth it and get to Alton towers

However that, why not get premier inn or similar. Just somewhere nice and cheap because it being a stag do, you won't spend long in there!

i usually stay in travelodge at terminal 5 when i go thorpe park its about 15/20mins away

Is this Nathan's stag do then? If you haven't already booked it mate like 4fingerdiablo says I'd go for Alton Towers. Not much further from you than Thorpe and far better, and if you're off out on the piss after Derby is a good place to stay, regular buses to Alton Towers and WAY cheaper than London...

I would have just said alton towers, only reason we were thinking thorpe is we'd all been alton, allbeit years ago.

will have a look into that this evening see what I can sort out,

thorpe park is pretty boring tbf never been to alton but even by looking at it i know its better

I've been twice this year and enjoyed it!

Just think Alton towers is better

Its barely an hours drive for us so I've no idea why I've not been more but twice this year and only ever once previous. I could see how it would get boring after a few visits
