Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Harky - 22-08-2013

Evening all, quick query just.

I put a conrod through my radiator and got myself a new ph1 one off ebay. Noticed a rattle inside it, opened the cap and theres this thing in it.

On the old radiator it appears fixed in a hole in the bottom of the reservoir, this one just floats about loose. Anyone know what this is for, and what way its supposed to sit?

Thanks

Cheers guys. danny, I filled the radiator today and didn't notice it moving. Going to get hold of the supplier, see what they say about it!

It looks as if it is supposed to be a breather of sorts. Look at the top. Thats my opinion anyways Smile

Mines attached to the bottom of the rad and water gets pumped up through it to the top of the rad.

Cheers Tom, contacted the seller and he confirmed that it shouldn't be like that so hopefully getting it sorted now. Cheers guys.
