Peugeot 306 GTi6 Track and Fast Road - Tallguy_2 - 22-08-2013
This car was chosen to use as a base for this project as it had been known to me for many years, as well as the Peugeot specialist who have carried out all servicing and maintenance with bills as far back as 2008 on paper.
Cambelt carried out 20,000 miles ago along with engine mount re-weld, service, crank pulley etc with a bill of £994 to prove.
Fully serviced less than 1000 miles ago before taking to the track at FCS 2013 inc: Oil, filters, coolant bleed, all new wilwood racing brake fluid etc.
Spec including:
K&N Filter in the original intake set up
Ported and polished throttle body and inlet manifold internals
Decatted with full Jetex exhaust system
SPAX Adjustable shocks and springs
Lowered rear beam
330mm 4 pot brake setup with a spare set of AP rotors and Hawk competition pads
Uprated miles gear linkages with Griffiths engineering quickshift
Group N engine mount buffers
Stripped interior with lightweight flat flocked door cards
Ally Foot plates and pedals
Sparco dished wheel and Group N quick release
Lightweight Revolution style bucket seats and Sparco harnesses
Choice of white or silver 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's
Carbon Smoohed lightwight bonnet (would benefit from re-lacquering)
Carbon stalk race mirrors
Front splitter
Removed sound proofing painted floor and tidied wiring inside
Modified on a good base this has made a great fun track car that has still been perfectly acceptable and easy to use on a daily basis if desired.
Certainly capable of upseting a few people when in the right hands as it was at Castle Combe

New mirrors shown in the bottom photo, bumper scuff has now all been repaired and the upgraded spacer and steering wheel boss is now fitted too

I'll be back! I don't think there is a better value for money car where parts are so readily available, easy to maintain and such a good base to modify

If it comes to it then I'll have to just tuck it away for a bit
As I said though I'd rather see someone get the same enjoyment as I did, I'm not the kind of person to get insulted by any offers, even if your on a budget there's parts that can be changed back to standard etc.

Someone from Kent direction paid strong enough money for it, took the lot, spare track wheels and tyres, track discs and pads, sliders etc etc
It will be used for track days and the of bit of road driving
I have pointed him in the direction of the forum, one day he may make himself known
