I currently have a D8A done 123k with box. It was in theliams beige mobile. Bits missing pump, turbo, power steering pump and duel filter housing. I was going to try rebuild it but with cash tight I thought I'd see what price it can so. Not sure on history or cambelt changed. It is just on a trolley wrapped in sheeting

Just like to say, pulled like a monster did this one, far better than the lower miles one in my ph2. The bloke I bought it off said it had a head gasket at about 100k, and no reason I wouldn't believe that, temp always sat steady at 80.

Must be worth 100?

Anyone want to by this

RE: WIW: D8A engine - Dave - 03-09-2013

XUD blocks seem to come by in waves... I had about 3 for sale for £20 or so a few months back, but then lots of people want/need them all of a sudden. Depends how quickly you want rid, if you can hold onto them for about 6 months you'll probably just about get £100 for it, but if not then you will struggle to give it away - mine all went to the scrapman in the end I couldn't shift them for pennies.
