Sorry dont know what's its actually called but here goes. Tried to adjust my coilovers today and the metal guider on the shocker that goes in the hub has decided to snap off causing the shocker to spin in the hub. Will this affect the car in anyway? I will get a new piece welded on but just thought I'd ask so I know not to drive it

It's not a good thing really wouldn't want to be the one who decides if its safe or not

Ask dumdum... Popcorn

Its not the turning you need to worry about, if you hit a hard bump the shock will drop though the hub hitting the drive shaft , making for a pretty big mess,

Oh and welding the shock............ just make sure it doesn't explode with the heat ThumbsUp

It's still got the bit on metal to stop it dropping down just not the point that drops in the hub
