GI/WIW HDi estate - Jonny81191 - 12-08-2013 Just gathering interest really, what would my white estate be worth? I would be selling it with a fresh cambelt and pump and tensioners, a new clutch, recent service, a white bonnet if it was wanted (current one is happily rusting away after I removed the paint). 128,000 miles with a stage 1 Easy 650 miles before the light. I'll stick up some pictures later on. RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - samass - 12-08-2013 What the max towing weight of an estate? RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Jonny81191 - 12-08-2013 You're fine up to a 1000kg RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Ed Doe - 12-08-2013 (12-08-2013, 12:11 PM)Jonny81191 Wrote: Just gathering interest really, what would my white estate be worth? Service history? List of previous owners and any known defects of said previous owners? For me, propensity to fall over and wear inappropriate footwear in a previous owner is a big factor in a car purchase... RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - C2K - 12-08-2013 EditL I see you've edited to include mileage. Is this a different HDi to your modified one? I'm confused. That's your strongest selling point and would likely command up to £1400 I would think. Says in the OP!! 128k ![]() RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Jonny81191 - 12-08-2013 There's no service history with it unfortunately ed, all I can say is it's in very good condition mechanically and structurally. The thing that lets it down a bit is the bodywork is a little tatty. I'm in the process of cleaning it up and I'm surprised how good the paint is aside from the few marks and scrapes. It's currently on 125579, so less than I thought. This is the car in question ![]() RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - ginge191 - 12-08-2013 who ruined the bonnet...? RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Jonny81191 - 12-08-2013 It was scrap (massive dent and scratches) already so I got happy with the grinder ![]() RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - ginge191 - 12-08-2013 (12-08-2013, 01:10 PM)Jonny81191 Wrote: It was scrap (massive dent and scratches) already so I got happy with the grinder ![]() ![]() TBH - i'd probably stick it up for £550-£650 reasonably.. perhaps more given decent T&T RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Toms306 - 12-08-2013 Tax? MOT? Year? Also is it just an LX? Most people will prefer a Meridian estate tbh, doesn't really add much value but would make it more saleable. RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Jonny81191 - 12-08-2013 It's got 6 month's tax and plenty of mot (I need to check the exact amount) And it's a 51 plate meridian spec on steels. RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Dum-Dum - 12-08-2013 probably advertise at £600 expecting to take £500 Re: GI/WIW HDi estate - kentiiboii - 12-08-2013 51 Plate with can belt. Is look at more like 8-900. Body lets it down but serious cheap motoring. Plus with cam belt fitted why not RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Niall - 12-08-2013 Yeah i may kind of be the reason for the BFO dent in th bonnet when Adam decided to run me over ![]() RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - Toms306 - 12-08-2013 (12-08-2013, 01:25 PM)Jonny81191 Wrote: It's got 6 month's tax and plenty of mot (I need to check the exact amount) Ah ok, if you're selling outside of the forum, I'd get some alloys on it, even if they're just swallows... With the extra info I'd say about £750-£800 tbh. RE: GI/WIW HDi estate - puglove - 12-08-2013 £120 down the local scrapper ![]() |
