hi my car was a 1.6 petrol to start but now is a 1.9td how can i tell witch pads i need or are they the same?

Well, unless they were changed, on a pre X reg 1.6 it's gonna be 247mm brakes. Probably made by ATE Teves. Look at the caliper and see if it says 'ATE' anywhere. Smile

Lucas are also known as Girling calipers, easy to buy pads for.

Unless they've been upgraded to 266s which are also made by Lucas.
