The splines are too thin and made of cheese. They are the first thing that comes off any 306 I buy cos otherwise you only find that they are f*cked when you need them off in a hurry. Did tightening the other 3 nuts up before trying to loosen the locker not work? I actually like that style, never had a problem with mine on cyclones! Yet every single time I get the ones with the 3 studs the bloody studs break..... Still, could be worse....Vaux use an 'anti-tamper' locker, which means the head has a ring around it that spins so you cant hammer a nrmal socket on....brilliant idea for when they get stuck! ![]() |
