It moves! - cwspellowe - 06-07-2013 Oh look, it actually moves! Seems to be behaving itself at the minute too, which is nice. Made some heavy handed modifications to my throttle travel which have completely changed the way it drives, just need to get used to the slightly higher throttle pedal now ![]() Yeah yeah, boring video, but for the odd moment of full chat it sounds like Darth Vader orgasming, which is nice. WEEEUUUAARRGGGGHHHH! RE: It moves! - Piggy - 06-07-2013 nice. glad you posted this as the blow off(!) type noise you get when coming off full throttle/boost is what I am hearing on mine down the lanes today...first day with all windows down doing some Broad munching... assume you aint gota dumper? so I assume its just realising pressure through the turbo vanes?!...hence the lovery 'wahpoosh'?! RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 06-07-2013 The lovely deathly whapooosh yeah, but i'm running an open filter atm. I found my T2 did it when i removed the filter too. Yeah my t2 defiltered does that RE: It moves! - Piggy - 06-07-2013 My own enclosed pod filter is what Im running. 24psi, 11mm etc... used a lot of veg today just making cool sounds! meverysad RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 06-07-2013 WhhhhhaAAAAA-pshhhht is fun, but i cant help thinking snap-off throttle is going to snap that piddly little turbo shaft one day... RE: It moves! - Frosty - 06-07-2013 Sounds sweet! This car is just pure WIN RE: It moves! - Tom - 06-07-2013 Looks really torquey/lively/nice to drive under 3k, something i am not familiar with! RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 06-07-2013 Yeah Tom, it's nice being able to drive it pretty much like a petrol. Was weird getting used to the DT ratios after driving the GTi for two years but this just feels nippy round town RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 06-07-2013 Whoosht ![]() RE: It moves! - ozonehostile - 07-07-2013 how does it handle now your rolling on steelies? i seem to recall you referring to it on the xxr's as being a bit of a handful. god i miss big turbo noises RE: It moves! - Stephen - 07-07-2013 Sounds amazing. I want your turbo. Loving the blink also RE: It moves! - Grant - 07-07-2013 Loving your centre console. One thing I have been meaning to ask you: What does the 'Megusta' switch do? NB. I am expecting big things here.. RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 07-07-2013 It gives me a banana while feeding me spicy pizza and cider. Torque steers like a bitch but actual normal driving is ok, turned out I had a p-bush working it's way loose that caused the dodgy handling. RE: It moves! - Grant - 07-07-2013 Is this so?! Where do I buy said megusta switch from? Does it come pre-loaded with spicy pizza, cider and reacharounds? RE: It moves! - cwspellowe - 08-07-2013 True story. Everything I mentioned not included. RE: It moves! - Grant - 09-07-2013 That is mildly disappointing. I suppose these things come at a cost though... RE: It moves! - zx_volcane - 09-07-2013 Sounds good! |
