Removing rear drum - scottbmxer - 02-07-2013 Removed hub nut, circlip and washer! Been smashing the drum for an hour or so with hammers and chissels, seemed to move about 10mm on top and 5 botton barring in mind me and a m8 havr been hitting it around the whole drum. RE: Removing rear drum - WiNgNuTz - 02-07-2013 If you've got a spare wheel you don't need knocking around, put it on and batter the life out of it. I had to do the same when I changed my rear brakes. RE: Removing rear drum - daddyfixit - 02-07-2013 slacken the handbrake---un-adjust it loads so the handbrake lever allows the shoes to retract. then a big screwdriver in either side and wiggle it off.
