They should settle a little but not a drastic amount

Ok I hope it lowers a little more myt just not look enough cus the rear arches are smaller the car seems to sit level so shouldn't moan to much

Some springs take ages to settle and drop a large amount over time, think it all depends on the quality of springs.
Are you 100% they are -40mm?

RE: Fitted new 60mm springs dosnt seem low enough - Msparksdturbo - 29-06-2013

There 60mm springs there a cheap set of eBay made in Germany I think AW think the make is

RE: Fitted new 60mm springs dosnt seem low enough - Piggy - 29-06-2013

that maybe the issue then.

Personally I would get some decent springs then adjust the rear to suit, IMO

Give them time to settle then. I think the cheaper they are the more they settle due to cheap steel.

Ok people cheers will leave it a couple of weeks see how we get on then maybe get some decent springs

May be a 60mm drop on a 1.4 or something but if its a '6 they already sit lower to start with so they wouldn't have the same effect

Just me that thinks that photo looks pretty spot on?

RE: Fitted new 60mm springs dosnt seem low enough - Msparksdturbo - 01-07-2013

Think it's cus the rear arches are smaller it myt look lower on the back the sills look level so that will do I think

i was looking at these, what's the ride like?

RE: Fitted new 60mm springs dosnt seem low enough - Jonny81191 - 01-07-2013

I'm running a set of those springs, for the money I can't fault them. They ride well and the handling is pretty spot on tbh.
