knocking - sammy9212 - 25-06-2013 hello! yesterday while driving my dturbo a rib of the aux belt snapped, and a serious knocking started,its a bosch car. When the car starts it starts with a loud knock, ive got a video of the sounds its making but my phone keeps deleting the startup knock video , any advice on what it could be ? its kind of hard to hear now its on the computer.. managed to get a video of start up knocking - Jtrigga - 25-06-2013 Could have made the timing go out a tooth. RE: knocking - raziel - 25-06-2013 Probably you have an a/c. This piece of the aux belt go under the timing belt cover and change the timing defo tooth out as Jtrigga said or maybe two. Check the aux belt tensioner pulleys alignment.
