So after acquiring this from Choppin on the 16th

This happens tonight :/
Just left work, got around the corner and was approaching a fairly nice corner at a generous speed. As I was going round the corner the back end was abit twitchy but then I must have ran over something or hit an oil slick because I lost control, tried fighting her to no avail and ended up spinning and stopping by hitting the adjacent gutter with an absolutely destroyed tyre and a broken arm! The beam is going to need changing, bought new break discs because it snapped the disc but its destroyed the alloy because instead of waiting 5 hours for recovery I decided to drive home as I only live 1/2 mile away, but now the alloy is destroyed :/ Luckily I have a set of clones with brand new tyres (budgets unfortunately)
Gutted is an understatement!
Hopefully she will be back on the road by the end of the week.

its pushed out the bottom of the arch but I just want to get her back up and running! When ive got enough cash I shall get the arch done by someone I know who is pretty good! Not very cheap though

Lol! I'm sure I hit an oil slick as back end just flew around and I tried fighting her to no avail! But when I looked at the tyre There was a big hole in it! It all happened that quick I'm not actually sure :/

But nah, gutted for ya mate; such a nuisance when things like this happen. Nothing major though; you can get a new beam for tuppence and have or changed in no time! And a new cyclone, they're not much! Keep going!

The cyclone was put on there so I could drive her back home, it snapped the rear disc so took that off, took the caliper off (which looks ok so that can be put back on!) clamped off the brake line and put the clone on. I'm gonna have to put clones on all round because I've ruined the wolfrace rim! Been to scrappy today, going to take me a rear disc beam off today. Ordered new drilled and grooved brake discs for the back and I've already got new ones for the front! So hopefully she will be back up and running the end of this week, just need to get the rear beam lowered :/
While she's off road I might get some arb link bars, and uprated gear linkages. Try and fit an original rear view mirror which looks like it might be a pita! Choppin will understand lol
The road was bone dry which leads me to believe I hit an oil slick or something because the speed I was going she should have held the road and I work in the middle of a fairly big industrial estate so there's HGV's down there allll the time! Speaking to people I know they know of people who have lost it in the same place as me!
I am truly gutted! She will be making a comeback though!!

The arch will be getting sorted when I have enough funds, just want to get her back up and running. Havent got no pictures of the arch, will get some.
I did actually like those wolfrace rims!
That's the rim. I did actually like them! And i've tried finding one the same but all I can find is 17s :/
The beam looks straight, so I thought but I don't know much about these!
You may not be able to see it in this pic (iPhail) but the right wheel is slightly cambered in, so whats that mean? beam is getting changed anyway but is there anything salvageable from this?

Id take that beam off and check the chassis is all straight before you go buying parts for it, the shell maybe a total write off, I had a 106 that some one had done this to, you physically couldn't fit a new beam to it because everything was so bent out of shape, it had twisted the back end up a treat, & the damage to the beam wasn't anywhere near as bad as what yours is,
Id get that beam off and get checking......

I hope I haven't!! It was crabbing on the way back but I'm hoping that's due to the state of the beam :/

Right then, beam collected from the scrappy (you all know what a rear beam looks like
) had a look at the gaps, they all look like they should and ive got that much stuff in my boot but took the edge of the carpet up and it looks fine *fingers crossed*Heres a few pics
We shall find out Tuesday/Wednesday how she is *fingers crossed* shes ok!

Right then not much of an update as such. Been to longleat today so the old girl has had to sit there looking abit worse for wear :/ but I have had a look underneath. It all looks old/rusty/dirty, no visible signs of splits/twists/cracks so really it's just what puglove said, a case of taking of the beam and trying up the one I've been and got and see if it fits. There's just one thing that has me stumped, the beam I have on the car at the moment is yellow, the beam that I collected from the scrappy yesterday is black? What's the difference?

SHES FIXED!!!
Right then, been at work all day and left it to my dad, so haven't got many photos so heres the photos I have got
Yes that is the car in the air with just a home made wooden axle stand holding her up but trust me, its solid. I made it like a wide base and you can see how I put it together with about a million nails shot into it with a nail gun
That's the damage to the passenger side :/ the drivers side had slight camber too :S

As you can see shes all nice and straight
I never used the beam I got from the scrapyard, as zx volcane will vouch for me on this, she was seized solid! The beam on the car is actually nice and straight, the torsion bars are and theres no twists, splits, cracks anywhere!! All my dad had to change where the stub axles? That may sound easy but it weren't because as said before the second hand beam was solid. So now shes all back together, everything works as it should, even found out that before the near side rear caliper was f*cked so the handbrake was only really working from the one side but now shes had a new lease of life, everything has been copper greased back up and brand new disks on the back. He even lowered it 60mm and hes never done it before!!
The weekend shes having new front disks fitted as the near side is warped and shes having new droplinks
Just a case of getting the bodywork sorted now, wont be yet though as lack of funds :/
Going to fit clones all around which are on brand new budgets but I don't know wether to get them painted and some new lower profile tyres put on orrrr find a nice set of wheels but which ones??
So ive learned my lesson, she is going to be looked after for definate!! Await photos of a good clean and polish

So added a couple of little things today
Metal monkey dials and vinyl stickers, big thanks to Niall for those. Even though there only little touches I think it looks loads better! Just got to get a boost gauge in there now but that will be fitted when she's fimc'd in the near future
The rear quarter panel will be getting done after my holiday which is 2 weeks away and then going to either get a nice set of wheels or just paint my clones?
