Throttle cable changing - no2lurch - 18-06-2013

on my ph2 TD i need to change the throttle cable.

how do i get the end out of the car?

Its cost me 30 odd quid from the factors - what will i get? just the cable?

Get a genuine pug cable as the factors stuff is generally universal fitment.

Take the drivers vent out to gain some more access to the cable.

Take the white clip out the top of the pedal and off the cable put it in your pocket or somewhere safe then the cable pulls through the bulkhead and out the bonnet, or the other way round. So try both lol

£30?! ouch.

just watch how it comes apart, the universal kits have multiple different fittings...right ball ache

I got the universal one they are terrible you have to cut them down otherwise they are far too long.
