Cold idle spring.... - Mal - 14-06-2013

Hello all Smile

Yep, I was changing a worn gov cradle (and gov spring for a Transit one) but silly boy lost it after it sprang into the abyss when putting it all back together Undecided and going through the inventory I realised Ducatos and Transits don't have those springs! Angry

After trying to pikey in a pen spring shrank down with butane on the off chance it might work, I still have no idle unless the car is warm. Where it then idles at 1200rpm.... Bit high for traffic!

How does one go about modifying the advance so it only works on hot idle? I'd like to try and avoid dismantling another pump for an engine I won't be keeping in the car for much longer....

Thanks for any advice Smile
