205 XUD SOLD - ginge191 - 10-06-2013

Everything that is needed to know about previous issues/problems have been rectified and is a runner and can be verified via Rich306 or Vaughan who both had a ride in the car albeit with a broken TMIC (which has been replaced)

Gauging interest into whether anybody is willing to take the 205 as it stands plus all the extras and information to go with it (VNT turbo, FMIC, ARB setup, springs, brakes etc. which all are not standard to the 205)

OR

Whether there is much interest in terms of breaking this up.

What there is to be broken up which is 306 relevant

XUD9 engine covered 30k
Bosch pump, lines, injectors
T2 turbo - covered 30k, VERY clean
Gearbox + paddle clutch
boost gauge + vent mount (205)
straight through exhaust (205)
TD25 VNT turbo, clocked, oil line + manifold to adapt

Post up any interest and i'll see what can be done with this.

So this is back up again.

IF there was a potential buyer i'd be looking for about £500-£600 for it as a whole, working car with tax until feb and MOT until about May/June i believe.

If there's enough scope for the spare parts i'd be happy enough breaking it up.

RE: 205 XUD + the rest - scrap value!? - ginge191 - 01-12-2013

First to come along and take it.

Looking for scrap value - £150 - will need towing/trailer away.

Includes MOT/TAX for a fair bit of time, at least 5 months IIRC.

Needs to go!

Why's it need towing/trailering away? What's up with it?

RE: 205 XUD + the rest - scrap value!? - Tom - 01-12-2013

The locking pin snapped whilst i was tightening the crank pulley bolt, it's just wedged on the fly. gearbox off jobby. It's not a particularly difficult job to do. apart from that.

Mate don't give up on this! Even if you don't do anything to it till the new year and it gets warmer/lighter evenings. You will regret get rid if you do!

RE: 205 XUD + the rest - scrap value!? - ginge191 - 02-12-2013

Sold

wish it was that simple. Stubborn garage "owners" prevent this from going any further.

RE: 205 XUD SOLD - welshpug - 02-12-2013

derp, learnt the hard way that timing pins are not locking tools I guess! :p
