HP ProLiant ML110 G5 - Scott - 24-05-2013

I'm thinking of upgrading my home server, so if there's any interest I'll be selling my old one. It's a HP ProLiant ML110 G5, and the specs are as follows:

Processor: 2.2Ghz dual core Xeon processor
RAM: 1Gb DDR2
HDD: 250GB drive
Monitor: None
Optical drive: None
LAN: 100mbit
USB: 8 ports (USB2)

Please note this is for essentially a barebones PC. It has no graphics card or sound output, nor does it have a CD/DVD drive (I've only ever installed Linux via USB stick on it). All of those could be added relatively cheaply.

The PC would come completely wiped clean and bare, though I could install an OS if absolutely necessary.

I'd be looking for around £130.

out of interest what did you use it for as a home server? Ive thought of the idea but never really had the need.

A bit of everything really...I was using it for SSH tunnelling when on public networks, an FTP server, samba server on my LAN to stream files to the XBOX/PS3/Raspberry Pi. It is also the development box (until I get my new one) for this site.
