VDO is the type found on the ph2 DTs, but they did an earlier version for the ph1s with orange needles...
The majority of ph1s had the Jaeger cluster with the white needles...

VDO is the manufacturer of the unit. They make most dials for most cars.

They are jaeger not VDO. I'm still looking for a VDO cluster if anyone has one!

Not really sure if its what your after but have a ph1 DT I'm eventually scrapping. Will get a pic for you to see if its what your after at some point..
