Could rebuild it yourself, kits are pretty cheap.

Or go with a different more readily available turbo, assuming its on a universal flange and you can bolt different ones up.

Looks epic mate! Love the idea of the truck turbo :p

RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII * now broken!!! - ozonehostile - 02-10-2013

despite the turbo situation i decided that shouldn't stop me with carrying on getting the rest of the car ready to roll, so last night was spent making new brake lines and a large order from eurocarparts for the last few remaining parts to get the car back on four wheels Smile

RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII * now broken!!! - ozonehostile - 07-10-2013

Spent another weekend alone in a shed with the car, not that I didn't enjoy it haha.

Had alot of issues with the usual rounded off brake unions etc etc, but it now has all the new brake lines and braided flexible fitted ready for the brembos to be fitted after a year of sitting in my garage haha

Oh, and the turbos come off yet again for some ninja work

Soon as she's back on 4 wheels it's moving across the road for some welding and my new seats to be fitted :-D

Bastard heater matrix clip thingy cracked! Cba to take the dash out again so some epoxy stuff will do ninja

That oil catch tank looks like an old style diesel filter thats been totally gutted out and had a small air filter bunged on to me!

This is one off a 200tdi landrover, guess you could convert the head and pull the filter out the middle of the can?

Kinda annoying been in a workshop with no lights, restricted to weekends and the couple of hours light I get after work, however, still been tinkering away at it :-)

Last night saw the return of the turbo to the bay, some xud spec exhaust fabrication and trial fitment of the long awaited brembos :-D

RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII * now broken!!! - Poodle - 10-10-2013

Oops, i'll take that as a yes lol. Looks tidy dude, good to see progress continuing.
