Re: mooey's Hdi Shed thingy - mooey65 - 07-02-2012

Found myself a spoiler

Needed some new tyres so went looking and came back with these but I did not like them and they did not feel right.

Needed some spares so bought this badboy

Re: mooey's Hdi Shed thingy - mooey65 - 07-02-2012

Went down to see Steve for one of his remaps car kept cutting out. So I fitted the fuel regulator off the other car changed over the injectors.

I needed a boot as mine was made of body filer due it to being fixed on the cheap before I got it but it was leaking in water.
Thanks to p boost I got one the only bad thing was the spoiler that was on it. He spent a hell of a long time making it fit (Thanks dude) and also picked up a back box he had lying about.

The back box mite not be staying and the spoiler is growing on me.

Before I went lower

Got some cheap coilovers and found that my p bushes were shagged (MOOEY'S BIG TIP JUST BUY THE FULL LOWER ARM) No one had the parts for me only the p bushes. What a nightmare 1.40am we finished and there's no street lighting at mine.

Had one a hour kip and set off to see Kris to have a new clutch fitted along with my other gearbox and back end lowered

Cheers dude the car is a right old shed and sometime it hurts me to look at. The flames were most likely due to a build up of carbon yes. Iv removed that back box for now.

As for the peak power being earlier I could not tell you as I don't know were it is on other peoples stage ones.

Re: mooey's Hdi Shed thingy - Eeyore - 18-02-2012

Bad stuff mate. Boost wasnt enough to get you out of trouble Sad Id be on the lookout for another 306 and swap over the bits you currently have. Then get the 306 finished how you wanted this one to be Smile

Re: mooey's Hdi Shed thingy - 4WayDiablo - 18-02-2012

That really sucks! Write off by the insurers for sure
You can get a new quarter panel welded in if you go down a repair route
