Personally there are too many films to narrow it down to just 5, plus although there are certain films within trilogies that I prefer, I don't think they'd be quite as good if they weren't part of a trilogy as it adds to the whole story.

There are some interesting picks in people's top five, and am with Kim and Scott. Plus it depends on my mood.

I don't think I could pick them.
When you think how good most of the Star Wars movies are, and then things like godfather 1 & 2, platoon, Apocalypse Now, goodfellas, any tarantino movie, all the LOTR, aliens, diehard and terminators.
Then all those movies that are good in a strange way like some of the picks above.

original star wars trilogy (i watch them in a row whenever I do so its like one film)
Blackhawk down
zombieland
and that no way covers films that I can watch over and over, things like hot fuzz, Shaun of the dead, mini series like band of brothers, the pacific, and in Bruges, the list goes on

I honestly lolled at how many times fast and the furious has come up! They are shit in all fairness, worst acting ever!
cant believe noones mentioned ghostbusters, goonies, gremlins, batman, godfather, gladiator etc etc etc what the hell is wrong with you!?
Also loving the love for fear and loathing lol I think there's a fair few tomato fans on here!

Does it matter about the acting in the fast and furious? At the end of the day it's got fast cars and nice women in so I fort that's what all men are meant to like? Well I like all the fast and furious films any way but everyone has different opinions and that's what this thread is all about
