Rippthrough lower brace - Jenkosowls - 30-03-2013

Lower brace for dturbo should fit HDI and TU and most XU engines except gti6 from what I can remember. I'm sure he will confirm

Has been coated in a primer and paint but is now covered in oil and road grime still in perfect order but will confirm when off the the car.

Maybe tempted if it fits a '6

RE: Rippthrough lower brace - Jenkosowls - 30-03-2013

I'm sure these are a tighter fit than the standard 6 ones due to the sump

very interested, pm'd!

RE: Rippthrough lower brace - Rippthrough - 30-03-2013

I did make yours tighter than normal Jenks but I think so long as the bracket for the rear pipe across the back of the sump is slackened and pushed up it will probably still fit a '6.

Second dibs if Mr. ZX doesn't take it.

RE: Rippthrough lower brace - Ed Doe - 30-03-2013

Matt doesn't need it. There are more pressing things to be done on that Wallye helping it move, let alone move at a speed at which a lower strut brace would be of any benefit at all!! Tongue

lol Dum it'll take more than a ripp strut brace to tighten a cabby up!!!

RE: Rippthrough lower brace - Niall - 30-03-2013

Dum you need to get Ripp to cage that cabby! But then again that would mean you going on a long drive to his which would mean not scrapping it in 10 minutes time Big Grin

But it would correlate vaguely to the net trend of adding value and weight to what will ultimately become scrap....
