FOR SALE: Coilovers - jammapic - 01-02-2012

Hi,

I'm selling my coilovers as I've upgraded to some heavy duty Avo's.

The damper bodies are the stock TA Technix / Raceland ones that people use, but I've uprated the primary spring to a 300lbs version (bought from Demon Tweeks not more than 6 months ago for about £70)

As well as this, I ditched the rear dampers as they were junk and went with some Koni Adjustables (£100+).

So what I've got is:

2 x Raceland adjustable ride height coilovers
2 x Uprated 300lbs springs
2 x Koni Adjustable rear dampers

Also have the stock Raceland springs somewhere, but they are too soft for anything other than a 1.4 / 1.8 petrol model.

Only pic I've got is this one:

Wanting £150 for just the fronts, or £200 for the lot.

Cheers,

JP

How long are the standard springs?

Re: FOR SALE: Coilovers - jammapic - 01-02-2012

the raceland ones are 6" I think. Uprated ones are slightly longer, but significantly stiffer so they don't coilbind.

Re: FOR SALE: Coilovers - Foxy-jim - 01-02-2012

Ok awesome. Thanks!

How low can you go with the new springs?

Re: FOR SALE: Coilovers - jammapic - 01-02-2012

low enough that the wheels scrub the arches and won't turn... and mine are rolled

FOR SALE: Coilovers - Matt - 01-02-2012

Haha fair enough. Got a link to the springs so I can read up on them?

Have you taken the helpers out?

Re: FOR SALE: Coilovers - jammapic - 01-02-2012

No. I always ran with them in. It will go lower without obviously. See the above pic, that shows them still in place.

Re: FOR SALE: Coilovers - Foxy-jim - 01-02-2012

Same as mine! Just wondered if you were running them or not! Oh well free bump!
