adjusting milage on dials - R1CH4RD - 27-03-2013

How hard is it to change the milage on dials. Im currently on 192 200ish and dials have stopped working. New clocks are on 120000 and would like to adjust them so they read the original milage of the car. Cheers

If you take them apart and remove the mileage screen from the clocks and swap it over the mileage stays with the screen. If its the screen thats broken then you have got no chance without some clever electric jiggery pokery

Surely if you have a phase 1 dturbo you have the manual clocks, you might be able to adjust them with a pin?

If they are digital, there are companies that can correct it for you for not much money. If they are manual, there are ways but best not to disclose them on here. Its not illegal to change mileage on clocks but it is illegal to do so to make more profit on a car and 99% of people will want to do it for that!
