wouldnt have a clue, its white and it was red, so maybe omp?

Re: Lower Strut Brace - spawn - 31-01-2012

Am i right in thinking that you cant fit these if your car is super low?

Re: Lower Strut Brace - Connor - 31-01-2012

Taking the bolt out wont matter too much, just try and make sure the wishbone doesnt move too much. And you can fit them, just dont go over any speedbumps

Re: Lower Strut Brace - Eeyore - 31-01-2012

I fitted mine and drove 5 meters and bent it on a speed bump. :-( its fine if you take it slowly ;-)

Lower Strut Brace - Jonny b - 31-01-2012

Had mine on since before crimbo just. Be aware its there!! The only time I have scrapped mine was on a road with some serious camber

Re: Lower Strut Brace - Diggers - 31-01-2012

Re: Lower Strut Brace - Rippthrough - 31-01-2012

Yeah, the twin-tube ones have more ground clearance, the early ones were lighter for the same stiffness, but a fair chunk lower.

Lower Strut Brace - Jonny b - 31-01-2012

Have to say anyone thinking of getting a ripp brace DO IT!!!! That and the omp top one has made such a difference don't bother with the E tech top brace as its made of cheese ha ha, powering hard out of the lower gear corners having the bottom one has virtually eliminated the inside wheel lighting up, feels so much more sure footed, big up to ripp for it from me

RE: Lower Strut Brace - puglove - 24-07-2012

Is rip still doing these? I got an omp one. I bejt and twisted to get it to fit and it just hit every thing Sad

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Rippthrough - 24-07-2012

Yep, but only the bare metal ones at the minute as the powdercoaters are waiting on a new oven. Trust it to die halfway through my stuff!

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Just Sean - 24-07-2012

How many have u got rip? And how muchdo you sell them for?

Is their anything like this to strengthen the rear up aswell?V

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Rippthrough - 24-07-2012

Just sold the ones I had ready, but I can weld a couple more up tommorow night possibly. £50 for a bare metal one.

Don't do anything for the rear yet (there's a whacking great steel beam underneath already!)

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Grant - 26-07-2012

^^^ errr? Lol

Ripp, have you looked at manufacturing and selling hybrid arbs? I reckon there would be a fair market for them if you could knock them out at a competitive price. Maybe bigger tbs too? 40mm? Lol!

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Rippthrough - 26-07-2012

No, I've got a full replacement rear beam in the works instead.

Just get your wages paid straight into my account, sorted.

Lower Strut Brace - Jonny b - 26-07-2012

Ooh ooh what's the beam specs bud

RE: Lower Strut Brace - Rippthrough - 26-07-2012

It's a metal tube and you can put a wheel on either end.
