Car cutting out while driving! - Welshdrg - 04-03-2013
helllo today i was driving to college came on to a roundabout and cut out i restarted it and it kept cutting out i got to college parked it up ater vutting out while parking ....went to come home it started then cut out soo i put the accelrater in while it was unstarted then it worked ...what causes the problem because it doing it alot latly ??

Could be a fuel problem check the injectors and proably wouldn't hurt to get some injector cleaner anyway. When was it last serviced?

Does it cut out when your driving or only when in neutral or with the clutch down?
If its in neutral or when you put the clutch in it will probably be the idle control valve
If you follow the air filter piping back to the engine you'll find it near the top of the engine or a 1.4 iirc
You can take it out and clean it and it should stop the problem or replace it
