battery removal - gazthegnome - 03-03-2013 Hi guys, i have a 2000 reg 1.4 meridian the alternator is playing up i want to charge up the battery until the new one arrives if i remove the battery to charge it will the car immobilize its self if it does who would i get it to work again once i refitted the battery? Should just be the same when you put it back except more power Can always attach the charger under the bonnet and leave it overnight if your worried.
